Building Sovereign Communities

of spiritually-aware, entrepreneurial, homeschooling families

I help parents become the kind of people who can make homeschooling work for their families.

I know the doubts, the questions, the late-night fears—because I’ve lived them.

I grew up home- and un-schooled in Alaska, went on to earn a scholarship and a degree in sociology, and am building a life balancing business, parenting, and purpose.

Now I homeschool my own child while working as a life insurance broker from home.

On my Substack, I write about homeschooling, educational freedom, culture, parenting, and how to build communities that support families.

Alongside that, I work at the grassroots level for tax-credit school choice in New York, because families deserve the freedom to choose how and where their children learn.

My goal isn’t just to help you pick a curriculum.

It’s to help you grow into the kind of parent who can carry homeschooling with an inner fire of confidence, creativity, and peace of mind.

Homeschooling isn’t about recreating school at the kitchen table.

It’s about creating a life that works—one where our children thrive, and you do too.

Want to take the next step?

Because homeschooling isn’t just about curriculum or test scores.
It’s about becoming the kind of person, parent, and family you want to be, in the community you want —and living it, day by day.

“Megan's always been straightforward with me, sometimes we disagree but I can feel it always comes from a place of love, she always leaves it open for us to see things differently. I never feel like she's talking down to me and I always learn something.”

— Sammy

“I think Megan is one of the most virtuous people I've ever known. She really wants us to move to where she is yet she keeps connecting me with people far and wide.

— Nicholas

“I love Megan’s vibe and it’s helped me see some things in a new light - the symbolism of seasonal changes in nature, and the beauty of community events that honor that. Her perspective is meaningful and beautiful and inspires awe and wonder.”

— Micaela
